CHITRAKSHI SINGH
(Contemporary Artist)
9999880958
Born in 1982 in small town of Uttar Pradesh, Chitrakshi the self-taught artist of the generation that emerged in the influence of creativity and innovation. You can say that she was a born artist; she was attracted to colours right from her childhood. She started her journey of creativity at the age of 5 Yrs., with her growing age, she emerged as an artist.
She draws her inspiration from her real life full of challenges and difficulties. Not only she faced her fears but she also emerged as a beautiful artist. Her recent inspiration is a combination of a strong women and her divine soul.
It is said that “Travel does the heart good” and same can be said for Chitrakshi. Born in Muzzafarnagar and moved to Surat (Gujarat) and complete her graduation in the city. For her post-graduation she then moved to Amravati to peruse her MBA in Finance. Her stay in every city inspired her and her love for “Radha Krishna” came from West India. Despite of her being a topper of the university there was something missing in her heart. She later moved to Delhi and finally found her true love for colors and began her professional career as a painter in Delhi since 2012.
Chitrakshi singh started her art journey by experimenting her hand in various mediums, themes and subject and her work always revolved around women, spirituality, belief and bright colors. She never hesitated to experiment with bright colours and her canvas always shined with vivid hues. Her painting not only shows her work but also shows her love towards Lord Krishna and his dearest Radha.
Spiritual Supreme -”The Divine Power “ always offers her with great inspiration. Being a self-taught artist Chitrakshi tries to spread divine love, spirituality and power of women not only in her paintings but in this world as- well. Her painting’s bring out the journey of the devotee in all its glory
From the wise words of Artist
“Art enables us to find ourselves and loose ourselves at the same time and in every work of art, the artist herself is present” - Chitrakshi Singh
Art to me is a gift from GOD and devotion to Divine Consciousness. Shri Radha Krishna is the primary source of my inspiration, his presence is reflected in each and every one of my painting. My paintings have “ The Prabhupada Connection” which says "Don't feel yourself to be alone because Krishna is always with you. Krishna is always with every living entity as Super soul.”
So look deep and you will always find Krishna in my work.
I also believe in being strong in life and the same gets reflected in my paintings as-well. My concept of painting is emerging with time- it’s fresh, it’s raw and it’s damn exciting. Now a day even spectators are empowered to engage with art in new ways - or, as I like to think of it, stepping into the game. Art is evolving and therefore so is the artist. Confidence is the key to success. It’s not so much about who gives you the acceptance but if you give it yourself, and if you believe it you will be able to cultivate a space to grow and work on yourself and your craft and the rest may just fall into place. I’m only still working out myself what being an artist means to me.
